Frequently Asked Questions

What is Direct to Film (DTF) printing?

Direct to Film (DTF) printing is a premium garment decoration method that delivers exceptional colour vibrancy, sharp detail, and long-lasting durability. Your artwork is printed onto specialist film using high-quality inks, finished with adhesive powder, and then professionally heat pressed onto fabric for a smooth, refined finish.

What garments and fabrics can you print on?

DTF printing offers outstanding versatility. It adheres beautifully to cotton, polyester, poly-cotton blends, fleece, and performance fabrics. From elevated streetwear collections to corporate workwear and sportswear, our transfers perform flawlessly on both light and dark garments.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

No. We offer no minimum order quantity. Whether you require a single bespoke transfer or a large production run, every order is handled with the same precision and attention to detail.

How durable are your DTF transfers?

Our transfers are engineered for longevity. They resist cracking, peeling, and fading while maintaining flexibility and colour depth. When applied correctly and cared for properly, they retain their premium finish wash after wash.

How should printed garments be washed?

For best results, wash garments inside out at 30°C. Avoid tumble drying and do not iron directly over the print. Proper care will preserve both vibrancy and durability.

What artwork files do you accept?

We recommend high-resolution PNG files with a transparent background at 300 DPI. We also accept PDF, AI, PSD, and EPS formats. Artwork should be supplied at the correct size to ensure optimal results. Our team can review your file prior to production if required.

Do you offer custom gang sheets?

Yes. Our custom gang sheet service allows you to maximise efficiency by placing multiple designs onto a single sheet. This is ideal for brands and resellers looking to optimise cost without compromising quality.

What are your UK delivery times?

All orders are produced and dispatched from the UK. Standard turnaround is typically 2–4 working days, with express options available for faster delivery.

Do you offer express or next-day services?

Yes. Priority production and next-day dispatch are available on eligible orders placed before our daily cut-off time.

Can you assist with artwork preparation?

We can assist with minor adjustments such as resizing or background removal. For more detailed design work, our in-house team can provide professional support where needed.

Why choose DTF over other print methods?

DTF offers superior flexibility, vibrant colour output, and compatibility across a wide range of fabrics. Unlike vinyl, there is no weeding required, and unlike DTG, no fabric pre-treatment is needed. It is a refined, efficient solution suited to modern clothing brands and growing businesses.

Do you offer trade or wholesale pricing?

Yes. We work closely with print shops, clothing brands, and resellers throughout the UK. Competitive trade pricing and volume discounts are available upon request.

Can I apply the transfers myself?

Our transfers are supplied ready to press using a professional heat press. Recommended settings are approximately 150°C with medium pressure for 10–12 seconds. Full application guidance is provided with every order.

Are your inks environmentally responsible?

We use high-quality, water-based inks and efficient production processes designed to minimise waste. While not formally eco-certified, DTF is widely regarded as a more responsible alternative to many traditional decoration methods.

What if there is an issue with my order?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you experience any issue, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with clear photographs, and our team will resolve the matter promptly.

Can I order samples?

Yes. We recommend ordering sample transfers to experience the quality, colour accuracy, and finish before placing larger orders.
